Linda Holley RAF Memorial Trophy

Hi all, as you know Linda Holley was entirely dedicated to the RAF and loved every minute that she served. The RAF provided so many opportunities for her and her beautiful daughters.

To ensure her name and memories live on within the RAF, we have been fortunate enough to have an award named after her, which is presented on the Phase 1 Direct Entrants SNCO course, at RAF Halton. The award is presented to the Top performing Non Commissioned Controller (NCC) at their graduation and is awarded in memory of Linda. It is titled: 'The Linda Holley Award'.

We have already been presenting this award, but we feel it would be more meaningful if we could design a new trophy, more fitting to the NCC role, and incorporate part of Linda. Unfortunately, there is no funding available to support a new trophy, so I am reaching out to her friends to see if anyone would help raise a couple of hundred pounds so that we can make this happen and ensure her name lives on within the RAF forever.

When the trophy is awarded to the individuals, a citation is read out about Linda, to ensure that new controllers joining the RAF know who she was.
