Linda Michaels Memorial Scholarship Fund

The Linda J. Michaels Memorial Scholarship Fund helps our country’s next generation of leaders reach their goals. This scholarship seeks to honor the memory of Linda J. Michaels by supporting women over 40 pursuing a college degree.

Linda J. Michaels was a beloved mother of two daughters and grandmother to five granddaughters. Linda spent her adult life traveling the world as a military wife, raising her two daughters as a stay-at-home mom. She completed her degree at Warner Southern University after the age of 40 hoping to make a difference in education and young people's lives. She taught middle school children until retirement. Linda encouraged higher education to her five granddaughters but wanted them to pursue whatever their interests were. She loved hearing how their confidence grew and how they continued to gain knowledge.

In loving memory of her, we seek to create a fund in which we can award a hard-working woman pursing the same dream.
