When faced with adversity and difficult decisions, it is often the unwavering support and love of family and friends that guide us through. In the case of our dear friend Linda Mobley, who has recently been diagnosed with end-stage Alzheimer’s, her journey has become increasingly challenging. As we reflect on her remarkable life and the countless lives she has touched as a dedicated registered nurse for over four decades, we find ourselves grappling with the financial burdens associated with her end-of-life care. In order to alleviate this burden and ensure Linda’s final days are filled with dignity, we have established an account to accept contributions from those who know and love her. Linda’s recent diagnosis of end-stage Alzheimer’s has shed light on the struggles she has faced over the past year. The support and love she has received from her family and friends has been instrumental in helping her navigate through this challenging period. As she enters a stage that requires round-the-clock care, the financial implications have become a significant concern. Despite her social security benefits, the cost of her care far exceeds what she can afford, leaving her daughter with the daunting task of finding a solution. In her daughter’s desperate attempt to bring Linda closer, to be by her side during this trying time, we have come together to ask for financial assistance and alleviate the burden that stands in the way of Linda’s end-of-life care. As we navigate this challenging journey alongside her, we are grateful for the prayers and acts of kindness that continue to uplift us during this time.
