Hi, my name is Linda Rountree. I’m married, a 33-year-old mother of three precious children and recently found out I have stage 4 ovarian cancer. After having the primary tumor removed in April 2022, my husband Justin and I did a lot of research on my specific type of cancer and after meeting with numerous oncologists decided to pursue non-toxic, alternative forms of treatment. It has been a challenging journey thus far. Conventional cytotoxic (chemotherapy) treatment was recommended, but because our oncologists differed on which drugs would be best and the drugs would be quite toxic with uncertain results, we looked into Hope4Cancer, a US-based clinic in Mexico, that specializes in integrative, holistic, non-toxic approach to cancer treatment. Below are a few links describing some of the treatments I will be receiving over the next month. Unfortunately, because these treatments are not covered by insurance, they will have to be paid out of pocket. In addition, there were a lot of out of pocket expenses over the last 3-months related to immunotherapies, meeting with nutritionists, etc, that have imposed significant financial burdens on our young family. Thankfully, Justin has a great job, but we are a single income family and even his salary only goes so far.
