Linda Sisson (Grammy) medical help

Donation protected
I'll start off with the fact that my mom (Grammy and sister) is going to be pretty mad at all three of us for doing this. She's been independent her entire life and would NEVER ask for help, but she desperately needs it. I’m doing as much as I can, but I'm not in a position to be able to help more.
Most of you know her from being a student of hers at Clearwood, being tutored at her home, or friends and family. So you know how much she has given of herself for 40 years to educate, lend her time, her heart and money to help everyone she knows. She was even tutoring up to an hour before surgery last month because "he has exams at LSU. I'm not doing that to him”. This was not the only student she was helping that week in the hospital. Perfect example of the person she is. I've run into numerous students over the years that refer to me as Ms. Sisson's daughter, a lot of them say, "I love your mom. Your mom was my favorite teacher. I never would have graduated if it wasn't for your mom. Your mom was there for me."
My mom was diagnosed with COPD a few years ago, as some of you may know. It was due to all the scar tissue from her chronic asthma.
She went to the ER and was admitted on December 4th. They removed her gallbladder and took a biopsy of her liver. They did other procedures to try and find why there was internal bleeding, which they still haven't found.
She had a dangerously low red blood cell count, and still does today. The numbers on her blood work are exactly the same after a month. The liver biopsy came back. She has Stage 4 Non-alcoholic Cirrhosis. She has NEVER drank alcohol in her life.
She is needing help because of the insurance deductibles. A procedure she needs right now is $700-$800 a deductible before the procedure will be done. It's to hopefully find where the internal bleeding is coming from. Many procedures have been done and there's many more to come. Even the prescription deductibles are high on a few of the medications she should be on, but she can't get them. She is still tutoring to be able to pay for her medications when she should be resting.
If you would rather send money a different way, we'll give you her address or we'll give you her Venmo.
If you cannot donate, prayers and good vibes are welcome during this tough time.
Thank you.
