Funeral expenses for Linda (Sue) Sydnor

My mother in law Linda (Sue) Sydnor passed away 2-27-24 surrounded by her children and family at the age of 61. Two weeks ago she was rushed to the hospital and during the ambulance ride she went into cardiac arrest twice. She was brought back and put on a ventilator. The hospital found a massive blood clot near her lung that was stopping blood flow to her heart which caused the cardiac arrest episodes. From there she was life flighted to Sky line medical center in Nashville where she continued to remain unconscious and on a ventilator. After 8 days of neurologist testing she was declared brain dead from her brain losing oxygen during the cardiac arrest episodes. The family prayed hard for a miracle but as she laid there her condition got worse by the day. The family chose to end her suffering on 2/26/24 by removing the ventilator and letting hospice step in to keep her comfortable. She held on for 30 hours after removing the vent fighting and giving her family time to say their goodbyes. This was an unexpected death for the family and Linda Sue did not have insurance to cover any funeral arrangements. The family asks for help during this time of need to give their mother a proper home going.
