#lindaswilltolive Her Fight Against Breast Cancer

Hello All! This fundraiser was created to help my mother, Linda Merten, regain her independence and confidence while fighting her battle against breast cancer, to raise money for a vehicle, her medical bills/expenses, and to put money aside for life insurance purposes. If you can find it in your heart to donate she and her family will be extremely grateful, thankful and appreciative of your selflessness and kindness towards her in her roughest times. 

My mother Linda is a breast cancer fighter. She has been battling Stage 4 metastatic incurable invasive ductal carcinoma since June 10, 2020. 

Her type of cancer will never see remission, sadly.

My mom, Linda, has a very extensive schedule she has to follow for doctors visits and treatment. She has chemotherapy every 3 weeks, scans and testing regularly every 2 months, Doctor visits religiously every 3 and 4 weeks, which entails her Oncologist, Palliative Care, and her PCP to name a few, she has blood work atleast every 3 weeks right before chemotherapy, and she has to be at the pharmacy at the minimum 1 time weekly to pick up some of her daily meds that she depends on. All of that being only her regular minimal schedule . With this being said, the vehicle that she has had and depended on for the last 5 years suddenly broke down leaving her stranded without personal transportation, having to depend on random friends and family members to get her and myself back and forth to appointments, chemotherapy and regular daily errands. As much as she appreciates the help she’s aware that everyone has their own lives and jobs and that their help is limited and coming to an end. We are hoping with this fundraiser to raise enough money to be able to help her get another vehicle so she can worry less about having to get to all of her appointments and errands and obligations without having to depend on anyone else. (Besides me, as I am her caregiver.) another place she will be putting money earned here toward is saving for a life insurance, because as if things weren’t misfortunate enough, she lost her life insurance policy about 6 months ago and fears she won’t be able to get a new policy now due to her terminal diagnoses. 

Linda and her family and loved ones are hoping to bring in donations so she can have some stress lifted off of her shoulders and they are simply hoping as well to raise her spirits in this difficult time she is facing when she feels that all the odds are against her. 

I can promise you she will be beyond grateful for every single donation, big or small, for every share this fundraiser gets, and for everyone of you taking a few minutes out of your day to read her story.!
