Linden Lodge NUH

Hello All, My name is Rhiannon and I am taking part in a half marathon at the end of the year to raise money for NHU Linden Lodge.

Late last year, my sisters partner took unwell and was eventually diagnosed with the rare, Miller Fisher variant of Guillain-Barrè syndrome (GBS). Luke became very poorly and spent 3 weeks in respiratory, 1 week in ICU, 10 days high dependency and 4 days on neuro.

He then spend 7 weeks in Linden Lodge, a rehabilitation center part of Nottingham University Hospitals. Here is where he learnt to walk again.

We cannot thank Linden Lodge enough for everything they have done and this fundraiser is to hopefully help the current and future patients, currently residing here.

The half Marathon takes place in Lanzarote on Saturday 7th December.
