Lindley Ivey Medical Fund

For the past 20 plus years, Lindley has dedicated countless hours to volunteering with many organizations including Guilford County Schools, the Shriner’s Organization, Wyndham Championship and the Greensboro Sports Council. Along with helping others, another passion of his is officiating. While football is his first love, he has also officiated softball, basketball, and baseball at various levels. Lindley has been a tremendous influence not only on the sports field but in his everyday life. He is known for his sense of humor, his ability to make anyone smile and his commitment to his family and friends.  He takes pride in all that he does whether it’s helping a friend, driving a bus, officiating at a game or taking care of the fields for his beloved Page Pirates.

On Sunday March 3, 2019 Lindley suffered a Brain Aneurysm/Stroke.  Thankfully he was rushed to the hospital where he underwent emergency surgery to stop the bleeding.  After 5 long weeks in the ICU at cone hospital, it is through God that he is beginning this journey to recovery.  It’s a long and hard road ahead of not just him but his family as he starts to recover from this traumatic brain injury.
