Help Lindsey Fight Hodgkin's Lymph
Donation protected
Lindsey was diagnosed with Stage 2B Hodgkin's Lymphoma in January 2015, just 6 weeks before she and Johnny were to be married. She immediately began treatment with chemotherapy, followed by radiation and by early September we all had hopes that she was in remission. Her most recent PET scan last Friday, December 18, 2015, revealed the stunning and sad news that the cancer is back.
Johnny and his father have recently opened a restaurant in Cumming, Georgia, Maxwell Street Chicago Eatery and getting a new restaurant off the ground requires long hours away from home.
Lindsey's treatment will require a stronger regimen this time including 3 consecutive days of chemotherapy every two weeks, followed by a minimum of 4 weeks in the hospital for more chemotherapy and a stem cell transplant , then more time in isolation as her immune system will be completely depleted. All this treatment will not allow for Lindsey to work,, which will put added financial stress on this young couple following this past year of treatment.
So, I ask you for anything that you can offer to help Lindsey fight this horrible disease, whether it be in the form on a cash donation, visiting Johnny's restaurant, or most importantly your prayers for a swift and full recovery for Lindsey.
Please pray that this treatment will destroy this horrible disease and make her healthy and happy. That her pain during this treatment is minimal. I also ask you to pray for Johnny who works so hard to provide for Lindsey's every need and has been lovingly supportive and caring of Lindsey in every way.
