Shh it's a secret!!
Many of us know and love the McMahons. Their road to building a family has been a long one so far starting two and a half years ago. After many months, they pursued IVF in Kansas City. When this proved to be unsuccessful, they began going to CCRM in Denver. After many trips to Colorado, they became pregnant with a little girl! Over the last 19 weeks, there have been many struggles to say the least - bleeding throughout that caused Lindsey to begin bed rest and miss the final weeks of the school year. Most recently, Lindsey began throwing up last Monday and went to the hospital. She was showing signs of preeclampsia and was taken by ambulance to KU med in hopes she could make it to at least 30 weeks during her hospital stay. On Sunday, June 12, doctors had to induce Lindsey.
Many of us cannot fathom what Lindsey and Jacob have gone through to end, yet again, without a baby. We know money cannot make up for a baby, but hope this Go Fund Me can provide some relief to help them pay for their many medical expenses so far.
Right now, Lindsey and Jacob are grieving and need time and space. Please don't reach out to them at the moment. We are raising money in secret and will share this with them when the time is appropriate.
