Link arms with the Turners & Hadley Mae's Heart Surgery

Our precious Hadley Mae will be having open heart surgery on Monday January 13th, a few days shy of 3 months old. This is certainly not the outcome we wanted, but is the only outcome that will save her life from a rare congenital heart defect that was found this week. Her congenital heart defect is called TAPVR and surgery is the only cure. It’s rare but prognosis is good after surgery.

We need your prayers. For peace through this storm, for Hadley to continue to be strong and fight, for finances, for her 3 big sissies, for Blake and I, the cardiology surgical team and everyone in her care, and for our entire life that will change so drastically.

The pain I have in writing this is unbearable. I feel like I’m living a nightmare and someone please pinch me to wake up.

But I also have an unimaginable amount of peace. Peace knowing that this will save her and let us enjoy watching her grow. But also peace knowing that before she was mine, she was God’s and He has a plan and will be there no matter what.

Please don’t take it personally if this is the first you are hearing of our news. It’s been an overwhelming couple of days.

I’m thankful for all of you and really really need you right now.
