Link's Fight Against Cancer

On June 24, 2023, my Godson, Link, woke up with a huge mass protruding from his abdomen. His mother, my best friend since birth, and his father took him to the hospital. It was that day, when Link began his battle against Rhabdomyosarcoma cancer.

Link will be 3 years old on August 21st. He loves all things trucks and cars, swimming with his mommy and daddy, cuddling with his grandmas and grandpas, playing with cousins at Chuck-E-Cheese, hanging out with his aunts and uncles, playing at the park, riding his bike, and loving on his puppy. He is all around a happy and loving boy.

Link has already had surgery to remove the tumor from his abdomen, but he still has a long road ahead with his chemotherapy and radiation treatments. At minimum, his treatment will be 1 whole year, if not longer.

Because he will need around the clock care, his mother will be forced to take a year off of work while his father continues to work as much and as best he can throughout this tough journey.

We all know that medical bills pile up on top of house payments, gas, food, utilities, and other expenses. There is a lot of uncertainty that this family will face in the next year, but I don't want their financial status to add more stress on top of everything else.

Link is one of the greatest gifts in so many people's lives. He, and his parents, are truly loved by so many. Please help me support this family in any way you can. Even if you cannot afford to donate money, sharing this post and encouraging others to share it would be so appreciated as well.
