Hello -
On Wednesday, May 2nd, 2018, our dear friend and fraternity Brother, Linwood Russell, suffered a brain aneurysm that required immediate surgery to stop the bleeding to his brain.
There were no doctors in northwest Arkansas immediately equipped to address Linwood's predicament, so he had to be flown via medevac to a hospital in Springfield, MO where he had a successful surgery to stop the brain bleed and alleviate the aneurysm. It is too early to tell what the ultimate impact from his aneurysm will be but we are praying for a full recovery. He is expected be in the hospital for at least a month before he can be released and commence rehabilitation.
Linwood is married to Latrecia Russell and they have 4 beautiful children, who are 13 year old quadruplets, Zarria, Jaden, Tyler and Bryce.
We are asking for financial contributions as Linwood recently moved to northwest Arkansas after accepting a Contact Center Operations Manager position at Walmart with the intent of saving money to soon have his family join him from Virginia.
Given that his prognosis is presently unclear, he's currently in a Springfield, MO hospital for at least a month and living in Arkansas with a wife and 4 children in Virginia, we are asking for any assistance to help alleviate the financial burden that his family is currently experiencing.
We are seeking $5,000.00 but any donations would be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Fayetteville Arkansas Alumni Chapter
