2 year old Dylan Cardona, native of Key West, is in need of a lip repair surgery which includes alveolar bone grafting to create a complete dental arch. We are counting on the community's support to make this miracle happen.
Dylan is among the children who suffer from bilateral cleft lip and palate congenital anomaly. This is a more severe case of cleft lip and palate because it affects both sides of the mouth.
The surgical procedure will be donated by two highly qualified plastic surgeons:Dr. Scott Loessin and Dr. Roger Mixter, and a high skilled DMD: Dr. Natalia Vazquez. Lower Keys Medical Center will be able to donate their OR time. The money being raised from this campaign will pay for anesthesia fees, follow up care such as dental/surgery, speech therapy, ENT visits, and all other medical expenses associated with Dylan's medical condition.
