Helping Lisa & Mike Wurster as both battle against cancer

Friends of Lisa and Mike Wurster have organized this fundraiser to help them as they both battle cancer. Lisa was diagnosed with lung cancer in June of 2023. It has since spread to her neck and brain. During her fight, she has bravely endured 2 surgeries, 7 rounds of chemotherapy and 6 rounds of radiation. Mike was diagnosed with a cancerous mass in his kidney on April 25, 2024. He will be starting treatments on May 7, 2024. Lisa’s medical bills are staggering and soon Mike’s will be too. Mike’s employer has been supportive in allowing him to work mostly remote in order to care for Lisa. Mike’s ability to continue to work will depend upon his upcoming course of treatment. If you’re lucky enough to know Lisa and Mike, you know that they’re the nicest, loving and inseparable couple you have ever met! Both would be first in line to help someone in need. They have a daughter Stefanie and a son Michael. Cancer treatment for one person is a tremendous financial hardship. Cancer treatment for two people will be overwhelming.
