As many of you know, my stepdad, Anthony Baley, passed away suddenly on September 26, after fighting for his life for a week at a hospital in Florida. Him and my mom were on vacation there when he he suddenly went into congestive heart and renal failure, landing him in a heart hospital there. 

The hospital was not only out of network for them, but I find out this morning that they did not have life insurance for him because he wasn't healthy enough (diabetes) to qualify. My mom is now not only mourning the loss of her husband, but she is trying to pick up the pieces and deal with debt and everything that comes after a loss such as this. 

She is the type to not ask for help --  But, with her permission, I wanted to do this for her because she needs it now more than ever. I ask, if you feel led, to please help me in minimizing her stress in regards to her finances at this time. This has been devastating enough for her. The last thing I want her to worry about right now is hospital bills or trying to figure out what she needs to do to be able to afford to stay in her home that they built together.
