Lisa Beckett & Sheldon

Hi my name is Lisa and I’m looking for a little help to take Sheldon, my 14 year old Springer spaniel to the veterinarian. Shel has had two ACL (knee) surgeries which have left him with severe arthritis. He takes Metacam and glucosamine/chondroitin tablets daily for pain but needs a vet visit and new prescription very soon. Despite his age and pain all he ever wants to do is play ball, trying to stop him is the hardest part, he’s incredibly persistent and those eyes!! I’m trying to keep up with the cost through dog walking and pet sitting but have come to a point where I need a bit of help. I’m really hoping to get him through the summer pain free and to his 15th birthday this fall.

I was happy to look after a dog who’s owner travelled to Ukraine to care for displaced dogs, was gratified by the photos of rescued animals I was sent and would be happy to do the same again for anyone with a similar mission.

For now any help for Shelly would be very much appreciated.
