Lisa Brener recovery & medical expenses

For anyone that knows Lisa knows she’s a GO getter so when she asked her daughter and husband to go to the ER we knew it was serious ….To make a very long story, short…She was critical sick. She had bacteria in her body . We don’t know how it started. She had multiple surgeries to remove pockets of bacteria that had developed in different places of her body... she was put on a ventilator for these surgeries and they tryed taking it out 14 days later when the dr thought she would be able to breath on her own but, she still wasn’t able to clear the mucus from her lungs or had not regained her voice…they did a scope of her lungs and vocal cords and they did not appear to be working so…she could not clear her lungs, talk, or breathe well so they transferred her to Marshfield clinic in Marshfield where there were more specific doctors to help her with her situation…. So She had to be reintubated.

14 days later she was moved out of the ICU and into Gen Pop. She was able to breathe on her own. She is slowly moving her limbs and trying to walk ..she recognizes people and stuff. She is still being treated with antibiotics and thyroid medication. 5days later they have moved her to a vocational rehab to work with her on her speech and try to recover her vocal cords.please keep her in your prayers, as this will be a LONG recovery and we hope to get her home safe and sound soon !

This Go fund me is to help out with some of the many medical burden this has created for Mark and Lisa and to make it a-little easier to get Lisa home as she is going to have a long path when she gets home and we would like it to be easier/a-little more normalcy for them.

She’s not out of the woods yet but, to all that have sent messages and have said prayers, we appreciate you. Thank you all for everything Hopefully, we’re nearing the road to recovery. ♥️♥️
