I’ve created this GoFundMe on behalf of my best friend Jillian Buono, whose mom Lisa Buono unexpectedly passed away this week. Lisa Buono, a former Warwick, NY resident has been living in Pittsburgh the past few years while Jillian has been living and working in California.
Jill was her mom’s only child and will be primarily responsible for her mother’s arrangements. With this heartbreaking loss come incredible expenses, such as funeral and burial services, as well as travel accommodations for Jillian from California to Pittsburgh.
In an effort to help Jillian, this GoFundMe was created to cover the costs of travel and funeral arrangements, due to limited financial resources, making that the least of her worries during this incredibly difficult time.
Lisa Buono, affectionately known as Glyndra by Jill’s friends, was an incredible mother, sister, friend and child. She was always kind, supportive, funny, and welcoming to everyone in her life.
