Family and Friends:
On April 2nd our mother, Lisa Butler, unexpectedly passed away from cardiac arrest. We are asking for your support to give this grandmother, friend, and community servant the homegoing she deserves.
Our mother spent her life taking care of others. She took in the homeless, fed the hungry, and opened up her home to those in need. Regrettably, this selfless woman was far less attentive to her own needs; she was a cancer survivor and suffered from diabetes, lupus, and fibromyalgia, making her uninsurable.
She was a faithful woman who would give her last penny and every ounce of her energy to help others, without question and without judgement. She was a genuine example of what Philippians 2:4 tell us, “not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others”. So, it is in this spirit that we humbly ask for your support.
With Sincere Gratitude,
Lafayette, DeVon, and Kea
