Tour of Kingman 2022 Honored fighter Lisa Cupstid
Donation protected
We are honored to have Lisa Cupstid as this year’s Inspirational fighter❤️ Lisa is a fun loving 41 year old who was originally raised in Alaska and grew up loving everything outdoors. She was a Navy wife by the age of 17 and became a mother at the age of 19 and welcomed her second son at the age of 20. Lisa has raised her children as a single mother for most of their lives, and even though they are now 20 and 21, they continue to keep her on her toes and going. She was diagnosed with stage three ovarian cancer in December 2017, had multiple surgeries and six rounds of chemotherapy. She also completed three years of maintenance therapy but received the unfortunate news in May that her cancer had spread and is now stage IV. She’s doing all the treatments recommended by the doctors and is staying strong for her children because she promised that them both that she would fight to be around for them. Lisa does her best to keep in good spirits and recently has taken a painting to help stay engaged. She has also found comfort in crocheting because it keeps her mind and hands busy. When she needs to help herself feel grounded, she likes to go back to her roots and be outdoors in the woods or mountains. She finds her inner peace while meditating and finds that connecting to the outdoors is the best way to do that. Thank you so much for any help you’re able to provide for Lisa she is a fighter and she’s got a long battle ahead of her, Any financial assistance will help her continue her fight her stage IV cancer and be the mother she has always been for her two boys.❤️
