Lisa DePalma Memorial Scholarship
Donation protected
It's hard to believe that it's been more than 3 years since my beautiful sister Lisa passed away from ovarian cancer. She was the sweetest person and a wonderful, loving sister. Everyone who knew her, knew how much she loved reading. I started a scholarship in her name to help us all remember her, and to celebrate her love of books and literature. This is the third year that a Wall High School Senior will receive a $1,500 scholarship to use toward their college expenses. The winning student will have written a 1500+ word essay that discusses the importance of reading and in particular, book that has changed their life or world view. In 2021, Elizabeth Boyle won and in 2022, Alexsandra Kniffin was the recipient. This year, I will be at the ceremony to present the scholarship monies to the winner on May 24 at Wall High School. I loved and looked after my big/little sister and don't want her to be forgotten. Help me to remember and honor Lisa by donating whatever you can.
