Lisa Dix aka Lisa Seeta

In memory of THE MOST beautiful person I’ve ever known, inside and out, Lisa Dix. She was the most beautiful mother inside and out. She had been fighting breast cancer for the past 9 years, and it then spread to her bones, lungs, lymph nodes, and then all of her other organs and then finally her brain. (She had a large tumor in her brain which caused her to decline incredibly fast with in the span of weeks. She just passed away in the nursing home today, and she had no life insurance or burial/ final expenses insurance of any kind. I had quit my job to take care of her for the past 4-5 years and she and I both struggled tremendously going through times of homelessness, sleeping in our car, to living in a camper with no running water or electricity, nd living in a cabin that we owe 8 months of unpaid rent on. We took out tons of loans, and car kept breaking down, and it is still not fixed even now. After all of the money we poured into it. We also went through months and months of not even knowing when or where our next meal would come from etc for the last year and a half to two years because she had applied for social security and disability over and over again and got denied appealed and appealed and even til this day she STILL NEVER got it and had been jerked around for years about her acceptance and back pay to which she still never received. So we we’re unable to continue to pay for treatments or continue to get her to her drs appts because her and I both accrued a ton of debt trying to for the first 3-4 years and ran out of funds and ran out of the ability to get any more loans etc and we’re at that point just trying to survive day by day (as I was unable to work as she could not be left home alone). She then broke her pelvis in 3 places and was put into the hospital and then ultimately put into a nursing home for what we INITIALLY thought was just going to be for “rehab”, but then she found out it had spread everywhere and now had a large brain tumor as well. She lost the ability to speak, eat, drink, and finally lost consciousness and was in a comatose state in the end. I found out that the nursing home comes after her home(camper) and then I will be responsible for all of her debt as well as my debt that we both accrued over these devastating years and times. She tried to get life insurance or final expenses, but was denied by every company due to her diagnosis and terminal illness. I am not only having to deal with the devastating loss of losing my mother, my best friend, and my whole world, but as well as not knowing WHAT I am going to do or where I am going to live etc as I said she had no money only debt and no life insurance or even burial insurance etc.

ANY donations would be TREMENDOUSLY appreciated at the mor devastating and scary time in my life… my world has been absolutely turned upside down and I can barely even put one foot infront of the other right now. I am having to take life day by day.. hour by hour… minute by minute… and I am still in shock that my best friend and mommy is really gone. Especially because we had just lost my brother a few years previously as well. And I have no friends or support system right now or any one in state around for comfort and my mother and brother were my world and best friends and I have now lost them both….
