Lisa Emanuel Funeral Expenses
Donation protected
Lisa and I met in 2008 while we were working in the same office. After working together for about 2 years we remained close friends. During that time I have gotten to know her husband, Anthony, their 8 year old son, Jeremy, and their 4 year old daughter, Audrey.
On January 19 this beautiful family lost their wife and mother. On top of the loss of Lisa, the family is now faced with expenses that we would like to assist them with paying. The money raised through this fund will go to cover funeral and memorial expenses.
The Blooming of a Family
Anthony and Lisa met and began dating in October of 2005. After a brief courtship…of 4 years, this happy couple tied the knot in 2009. During the course of their 12 year marriage, Anthony and Lisa enjoyed attending Houston professional sporting events, live concerts, and most of all spending time with family.
Four years in to their marriage, Anthony and Lisa welcomed a son, Jeremy, into their family. According to Anthony, “[Jeremy] and Lisa were like twins. Everything he does, the way he thinks, what he finds humor in, how he reacts to things….he’s a carbon copy of Lisa.”
Four years after Jeremy was born (are we noticing a trend here?), this family of three became four when Audrey was born. Anthony says, “Audrey is a problem solver much the same way Lisa was. I could never solve the problem but I could gather the info and have Lisa develop a plan.”
More than a Mother
Lisa’s loss will be felt far beyond the walls of her home. Those of us that think we knew her best know that she was witty, sarcastic, had a dry sense of humor, loving, dependable, loyal, and one amazing friend.
Even though she was late to EVERYTHING, there truly was no one else like her. When we would meet for lunch we always told her to be there 30 minutes before we actually planned to arrive…knowing she would still be the last one there. If there was a Friends or The Office reference…she was the one making it.
This wonderful woman was a blessing to everyone that got the privilege of being called her friend, or part of her family. She will forever be in our hearts.
We want to thank you for reading Lisa’s story, and greatly appreciate any help you can provide for Lisa’s family. If you are unable to financially contribute please take a few minutes to pray for the family, and let your loved ones know how much you care about them.
