In Memory of Lisa Hassell

On March 20th, our dear mother, Lisa Hassell, a retired registered nurse and servant of her community, peacefully passed away after bravely battling cancer. Her love, kindness, and selflessness touched countless lives, and her memory will forever be cherished.

Unfortunately, her sudden death has left some financial burdens, including funeral costs. We want to give our mother the dignified farewell she deserves, surrounded by the love and respect she always gave to others. It's our heartfelt wish to ensure that her hard-earned home, particularly her cherished land, is not lost during this difficult time.

We're reaching out to our community, friends, and kind-hearted strangers for support during this challenging period. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in helping us honor our mother's legacy and give her the peaceful rest she deserves.

In lieu of flowers, she wished that donations be made to the Sierra Club and the American Red Cross. Any extra money collected will be donated to these organizations in her name and memory.
