Lisa is in need of our help!

Lisa’s Story

We would like to share our dear friend Lisa’s story in the hopes of helping her receive a new kidney. Lisa was diagnosed with stage 5 Kidney failure in June of 2021. She has been doing dialysis 3 days a week for the past 9 months. Dialysis has been very difficult on Lisa’s body, so it is critical that Lisa has a kidney transplant. In order to be on the list to receive a new kidney, there are certain requirements. To get on that list, Lisa needs a procedure which the insurance company will not cover due to its classification. This is truly a life and death situation.

We have known Lisa for over 25 years. Even though our career paths have taken us in different directions, we have always stayed in touch. If you know Lisa, you know that she puts everyone else first. She is the most giving and caring person we know! In the midst of everything Lisa has been going through, she still manages to think of others. She brings crossword puzzles, word find games and other goodies for the other dialysis patients and has gotten to know each one of them. She has also recently started her own business, Lisa Justice Designs. Lisa has never been one to sit around and feel sorry for herself. She is truly a fighter and we know that with your help, she WILL get through this.

Lisa has touched so many lives over the years and the world is a better place with her in it. Thank you for reading Lisa’s story. We hope you can help our dear friend so that she may continue to shine her light and experience all the special moments that life has to offer. We love you, Lisa!
