Lisa Joy McDaniel final expense and Memorial

Lisa Joy McDaniel was admitted to the hospital after suffering a brain aneurysm on December 13th. After spending a week in a coma, she passed away on December 21st at the age of 49, just a month shy of her 50th birthday.

Lisa was born on a stormy winter night in January, in the heart of South Texas along the beautiful coastal beach of Corpus Christi. From a young age, her shining star energy and intelligence led her to live a magical and very fulfilling life that impacted many people in countless ways. She was a mother to three beautiful daughters, a skillful artist with many different talents including but not limited to being a culinary alchemist, an exceptional botanist, and a striking dancer. Everything she did had a focus for the greater good. She loved helping her community, friends, and family. Her gratitude and outlook on life as well as the ways she taught others about existence was unique and enlightened.

This Go-Fund-Me has been created to help offset the financial burden of Lisa’s very unexpected passing. With all of the emotional pain and stress that death brings, it also brings financial burden. We are currently asking for help for Lisa’s three daughters; Madison, Cassie, and Lucee to lighten their burden. We plan to use the received funds to recoup some of the following acquired expenses; cremation service, multiple flights, car rentals, hotels + air bnb’s, packing materials + storage unit, vet bills + boarding (for a short amount of time), as well as any other expense that come up. Additionally, some of the funds will also be reserved for a Memorial service within the new year.
