Lisa "LT" Sugg Recovery Fund

Lisa "LT" Sugg was in a terrible car accident on Wednesday, October 26, 2016.  She was coming home from her Bible Study class.  She lives in Delta Ohio, which is in the rural area, outside of Toledo.  She collided with a semi-truck.  She was life flighted to University of Toledo Medical College, which is a level one trauma center. They did not expect her to live through the night of the accident, but she DID. 

She took most of the impact to her head.  She has several skull fractures.  Both of her cheeks are broken, her nose is broken and her left lung collapsed.  She is in the ICU and on a ventilator.  She remains in a medically induced coma.  Her right eye is still badly swollen  and we aren't sure  how it will recover. We are still watching her left lung, as it is still collecting fluid--which could be a risk for infection or pneumonia.

 LT continues to FIGHT and is making tiny little improvements each day. 

She is married with two daughters, one attends a private high school and the other is in college at Kent State University. 

This will be a LONG road to recovery.  We are still waiting for her to wake up.  We won't know the extent of her injuries until she is able to communicate with us.  We know she will have to move from the ICU to a rehab facility, where she will work to regain her strength.  And we know that will take time.

Between LT and her husband, they have four jobs, just to make ends meet.   Scott will return to his full time job next week, but their income will be significantly reduced.  The roof on their house needs to be replaced, or at least repaired.   They need a car that is reliable.  And, there are so many unknowns.  The amount of medical costs and the impact to their financial situation is daunting, given that we are unsure when LT could return to work.  

We are so thankful for all the prayers, they make all the difference.  We believe in God and they he is caring for LT.  Thank you for supporting LT and her family during this time.
