Lisa Mary Boyd

It is with great sadness that Lisa Benke Boyd, 50, of Burtchville Township, was found passed away unexpectedly in her home on Thursday, November 30th, 2023.

She was born February 23, 1973, in Detroit the daughter of Frederick and Diane (LaCroix) Benke.

Lisa was employed by Regency on the Lake Nursing Home as an LPN for over five years. She loved her Chihuahua's, cats and spending time with family and friends.

Surviving are two children, Alyssa Boyd of Burtchville Twp. and Aaron Boyd of AZ; mother, Diane McDonald of Port Huron Twp.; two brothers and a sister, Larry Benke of Port Huron Twp., Jerry Benke of Port Huron twp., and Debra (Kevin) Dietrich of Wales Twp.; several nieces and nephews, Anthony Benke, Kevin Dietrich Jr., Piper Hubert-Trave, Noah Benke, Sylis Benke and Josiah Benke, great-niece Freyja Benke and several friends.

She was preceded in death by her father Frederick.

A celebration of Lisa's life will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Grace Memorial-Smith Chapel, 1525 Hancock Street, Port Huron, Michigan 48060. Services officiated by Reverend Dr. G. Patrick Thompson will begin at 6:00 p.m.

We are seeking donations to help cover the unexpected costs with the loss of Lisa to alleviate any financial burdens on her children Alyssa and Aaron associated with this tragic loss. Due to the fact they have now lost both parents. All donations no matter what the amount are greatly appreciated.
