Lisa Pedersen needs our help, love and Support

To know Lisa is to witness an incredible human. She is resilient, brave and persistent single mom raising 3 children (one with severe special needs) on her own. Despite what most would deem a difficult life...this sweet Gem of a woman never ceases to amaze me with the care and concern she shows not only her children, but her friends and complete strangers.

Throughout our long friendship, I have witnessed Lisa give of herself over and over and over again. A women with limited means giving everything she has to help others.....A fundraiser for a several families, donating her incredible photography talents to various programs and to people, and providing memories for families affected by cancer. She has done this over and over and over again. She sees a need and does what she can to help. She has always believed that it takes a village and we are meant to help one another.

In the ironic way that life unfolds, Lisa herself was diagnosed with Cancer last year. Polycythemia Vera, is a rare type of blood cancer. She has frequent treatments to help support her health all the while working 2 jobs to ensure her family has a roof over their head. It's not been easy.

Due to her weakened immune system, her health has deteriorated significantly. She has struggled to battle pneumonia over the last several months only able to go to work a few days. Unfortunately this past week she was admitted to hospital and then transferred to ICU with an additional very serious infection and unable to breathe on her own.

Lisa is a proud woman. She has always figured out a way to provide for her children and would never think to ask others. However, as the only income earner, she is struggling and worried for her children. She needs to focus on her health and recovering from this latest setback.

We are reaching out to you requesting your help in joining together so Lisa knows her rent is paid and her children looked after as we await the outcome of her recovery, her continued battle with Cancer, and this infection that has in in the ICU.

Whatever donation big or small will help tremendously. Rest assured that Lisa will pay this forward 100 more.
