Lisa Russo's medical bills

Hi Amy Russo here, most of you know me, my family, and most importantly my sister Lisa. If you know my sister, you know that she is a loving, hard-working woman.

Recently, my sister was diagnosed with, and treated for, a subdural hematoma. A real shocker! She was not feeling herself, went to the urgent care, which sent her to Cape regional, Cape regional got one look at her and sent her to Atlantic City medical center, as they have a trauma unit. She had her surgery, all is well in the world, right? No. This past Friday we went to breakfast, and then to run a couple errands and she was great! Suddenly, later in the day she was unable to speak correctly. She quickly went right back to the ER, they quickly sent her right back to Atlantic City medical center for another bleed, which is another surgery.

After the first surgery, we really didn't consider anything but how lucky we were, but now as the dust is starting to settle, just to rise up again, we feel that this is going to be a devastating financial situation for our sister.

Pride is a tough thing to swallow sometimes, asking for help, even more difficult... But sometimes you have to do things you don't really want to. So we are looking to raise some money for my sister's impending medical expenses and life expenses since work will not be a thing for a while. You are required to put a goal amount up when you make a GoFundMe. I just picked a number out of the sky because I have no idea what is to come. But anything helps. We truly appreciate your consideration.
