Lisa Spottswood

As many of you know, we recently lost our beloved Lisa, six years after her stage IV colorectal cancer diagnosis. Our family is humbled by the kind words and deeds we received in honor of her memory. Many have asked what can be done to be of service. We decided on a few options that we know would be of importance to Lisa.

We encourage you to contribute to the Colorectal Cancer Alliance. This organization works to provide support for patients and families, caregivers, and survivors; to raise awareness of preventive measures; and inspire efforts to fund critical research. We decided to setup this page for contributions to Abriena’s college fund. All donations will go directly to her existing account. You may contribute via this site.

Monday September 12th:

A Wake will be held at Fairfax Memorial Funeral Home from 6pm-8pm.

Tuesday September 13th:

The funeral service will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints from 11am-12:30pm.

Following the funeral, a burial ceremony will take place at St. Paul's of Rock Creek Cemetery.

Afterwards, the Grow family invites all to return to the Church for refreshments and the sharing of our fondest memories of Lisa from 1:30pm-3:00pm.
