Lisa Spradlin

My friend Lisa Spradlin was diagnosed earlier this year with a grade 4 glioblastoma in her brain. She had surgery earlier this year which they were able to get like around 97% of the tumor out but not 100% of it bc they were afraid it would cause damage to the use of her R side. Well after a long and hard surgery she remained in the hospital for quite a while. Ins wouldn't cover to go to a in patient rehab. She was discharged to her home with in home PT/OT, etc. She felt the in home stuff just wasn't consistent enough. The nurses would call and say they weren't coming or just no show. She cannot drive bc she is battling swelling from high dose steroids to help control inflammation from the small piece of the tumor that is still present in her brain. She has no use of the R arm or hand. She has to ask neighbors and friends to drive her. She was let go from her job during this time and lost her insurance. She has no income. She has a mortgage, bills and just daily needs.
