Lisa Washington support for Leg Amputation
Donation protected
Hello everyone
My name is Stephanie Cooper, and one of our most dearest friends is in need of your help. She did not ask me to do this, but my heart breaks when I think of all that she has been through in 2019-2020. Just a few days ago Lisa Washington had her right leg amputated from just below her knee down. She was only given a month's notice that the amputation had to be done. With no time to prepare, Lisa had to choose between losing her leg or possible losing her life. She chose the amputation. Now, if we can remember, it may have been over a year or so, that Lisa went through this same process with her mother, who passed away shortly after. Lisa never recovered from the expenses of caring for her Mom, and the bills that occurred after she lost her job during her mom's illness. Lisa's recovery is going to take some time, so I am asking everyone that knows her to donate toward's our goal of $20,000. Lisa have alway's been a big supporter of people and organization's around the nation. Let's show her some love in her time of need. No gift is too small. I personally have committed to giving a $1000, so that only leaves everyone else to give $19,000. This is a "God given sister" to me by way of Oral Roberts University, and as ORU students we have always helped each other in time of need. I appreciate all your support and love towards Lisa, as she is recovering at home now. She will be receiving a new prosthetic leg soon once her amputation wounds heal. Please pray for her and her family members that are caring for her.
