Lisa's New york dream

I want to start off Lisa's story by telling you a little bit about who she is and the type of person she is.
Lisa is a beautiful person inside and out she is 38 lives in Twydall in Kent with her husband Warren and their two dogs Coco and Teddy.
Lisa and Warren's love story is like that of what you only see and dream of from films they meet back in 2006 when Warren's friend needed some dental work done and dragged warren along for moral support lisa was to be hes dental nurse.
They describe it as love at first sight as their eyes meet from across the room, it was that instant attraction,they exchanged numbers and that same day they went on there first date and that was the begin of their love story.
Warren proposed to Lisa on her 27th birthday 11 years ago in 2008. They got married on the 1st of May 2010 and Its was the fairytale wedding Lisa had always dreamt of.
Lisa knew she had always wanted to be a mum and they made the decision to try for a family straight away and looked forwards to starting the next chapter of their lifes together.
Unfortunately it wasnt to be that easy after trying for 2 years without success they were told by the doctor that they would have to try ivf. After 2 rounds and about to start there third,while having a morning shower Lisa discovered a small lump in her right breast they went to the doctors together and was told the devastating news that she had primary breast cancer of the right breast their world was turned upside down. Lisa the ever so positive person she is reassured warren they were going to get through this together and their be stronger for it.
Lisa had to have a number of operations aswell as starting rounds of chemotherapy and radiotherapy but before she did lisa wanted to cut all of her hair off and donate it to the princess trust which is very much like lisa, brave and selfless. She also spent her time raising money for a number of different charities while actually going through all of her different treatments including doing a 5k walk. A extremely strong women I think you would agree.
After 6 rounds of aggressive chemotherapy treatment and 3 week of intense radiotherapy treatment she was called in to get her results.
Great news the chemo and radiotherapy has worked and your cancer free you will need to come back in for check ups every 6 months but it's great news . Lisa and warren had got the news they had longed to hear but unfortunately while going through her treatment they were told the deversating news that their dream of starting a family would no longer be possible which was heartbreaking but they had each other and the positive news she was cancer free, and lisa was right they had got through all of it and came out the other side stronger.
Lisa went on to have clear 6 month check ups but...
In July 2017 Lisa had a fall down the stairs at home she went to the hospital for an xray of her shoulder which showed it was fractured but also revealed a shadow. Lisa had to have a pet scan and in her words said it lite up like a christmas tree, not only was the cancer back it had spread to her bones,liver and jaw. Lisa had now been diagnosed with secondary cancer which was stage 4, and the doctors gave them the devastating, unthinkable news that there was very little they could for her now other than to help prolong her life.
Once again lisa began the trolling rounds of chemotherapy and radiotherapy she is on hormone sepressences and has to be x-rayed every 3 months and now in september 2019 as I'm writing this she has been told she only has a life expectancy of 1 to 5 years.
This unimaginable news is why I and many others wanted to set up this page for Lisa, it has always been a dream of hers to visit New york to walk in central park and visit iconic places such as the rockfellas and many others to make ever lasting memories with the love of her life.
Myself and as I say many others want to help make this dream a reality because she truly deserves it she has been through so much and stayed true to the amazing, positive, kind and selfless natured person she is. She really has made such an impact on peoples lifes please please help me in making Lisa's New york dream come true and for her and her husband warren to get one last fairytale.
