Lisa Jewett's fight against cancer

Lisa Jewett is a 22 year veteran teacher . She  is a single mother of two, who loves to spend time with her family especially  her 4 grandchildren. Lisa began having stomach pains that led to her having bloodwork done and a CT scan.  After finding something in her abdomen she then saw a specialist for further insight in the matter. The specialist found a mass tumor on her ovaries that was suspected and diagnosed as stage 3 cancer. A surgery was recently scheduled to possibly get as much of the cancer as they could from spreading however it had to be cancelled. The cancer resulted in spreading to Lisa's lympnodes where surgery is not an option.  Doctors goals are to get the tumor out but due to the spread she has to go under 3 rounds of chemo before any surgeries can be scheduled.
