Lisa's broken kitchen

Hi everyone, I'm raising funds for a new air fryer and ute hire to pick up a couple of larger garden items. Our oven has been broken for over 3 years with landlord promises to replace it. Upon notice of significant rent rise, we pushed again for oven replacement. 3 visits later, yesterday electricians removed our old oven and brought in a new one that everyone knew was not going to fit and could not be installed. Now there is a hole in the cabinetry, old oven was just dumped on the council strip and of course tonight our air fryer we bought to initially replace the oven decided to die.

Lately we just cannot catch a break and it is extremely taxing! Ongoing medical costs with only one part time wage in the household have us always beyond financial limits so we are trying to move towards self-sufficiency wherever we can. I have been enjoying baking my own bread and making cakes from fruit in our own yard but without an oven (and now air fryer) that is impossible.

This is where the 2nd part comes in also. Rainwater collection for yard maintenance will go a long way to expanding what we can provide for ourselves, lessening food bills. We don't have the vehicle to be able to pick these up when they come up online for free, so need to hire a ute or van.
