Lismore Floods 2022 - Dozer and Family

Help Dozer’s family, who have lost everything in the recent Lismore floods.

Luckily, Kiera and Dave’s teenage children were safe elsewhere when floods surpassed the 12m mark (which the family was prepared for) before hitting almost 15m. The water level rose above the second story stairs as it did with so many properties in Lismore and its surroundings. Thankfully neighbours were able to help them out of an upstairs window by boat, along with Dozer, their beloved dog, but so much has been lost.

Dave and Kiera are selfless people who wouldn’t even consider a Go Fund Me campaign. However, whilst in emergency accommodation, the community spirit played a massive part in joining everyone together and supporting each other.

They have always worked hard and will continue to work hard, no matter what obstacles come their way. But as a mother who saw how traumatic, emotional and life-changing this event has been, not only for them but also for their 4 children who are all in school, I cannot help but do something.

We are Kiera’s parents (Sharyn and Kym), who are trying to help Kiera and Dave make their house a home again.
