Listowel Community Supporting Cliona's Foundation

Cliona’s Foundation is a wonderful charity that provides support and financial assistance to families who have a child with a life-limiting illness.

 

The Community of Listowel is coming together to raise funds for this worthy cause in honour of Pádraig Beasley, now 11, after they provided hope and support to his family during his heroic battle with cancer. Pádraig, along with his family, recently featured in Virgin Media documentary “Ireland’s Forgotten Families”, highlighting the foundation's positive impact during difficult times, as he was treated for neuroblastoma for the second time in his young years.

 

We hope for people to have fun while raising much-needed funds for a great charity with events planned for Friday, July 1st.

 

Join in the Spinathon in Garvey’s SuperValu from 10-5 Friday (with face-painting from 12!)

 

Come along to the Karaoke & DJ event from 9 pm in Christy’s that same evening – sing your heart out or just come to be entertained by local legend, Kerry Dave.

 

In the meantime, all funds raised here will go to the same fantastic cause; any amount would be greatly appreciated! Collection buckets will also be available around town all week.
