Litter Free Norbury

Norbury, South London, where you drive to Gatwick airport and back, most of the time.

It features a lovely high street, some beautiful little parks and a great community!

We are Litter Free Norbury, a group that wants to change the face of Norbury by cleaning our streets of litter pollution.

By cleaning the streets, we eliminate environmental pollution (in particular plastic pollution) and help the area's community self-esteem.

We want to continue to clean parts of Norbury and make sure that we advertise the topic of environmental pollution and change litter habits.

For this, we need to be able to have hired help to take care daily, on the correct hours, of our high street and various side streets. We want to be able to get our volunteers more equipment and to finish being able to advertise and bring bins in an area that has been neglected for a long time on this particular matter.

This local initiative, which really in London a first, if successful, can be an excellent blueprint for other wards and would be able to fix the litter problem across cities.
