Little Brave Warrior need some Aloha
Donation protected
Aloha, Christina and I are the Grandparents of this little guy name Grayson. We have been his biggest supporters in helping his mom Breianna in raising him ever since he was a baby. Maybe you have seen many pics and videos of Grayson and how much joy he brings to our family. We were all scheduled to fly and relocate from Hawaii to San Antonio, Texas on 3 April, however due to serious medical recommendations, Grayson and his mom will need to stay a little longer on island until his medical situation gets resolved. On 31 March Grayson was taken to the Womens and Childrens Hospital ER for major side pains in his left abdominal and back. He has been vomiting multiple times of which nothing really coming out due to lack of eating, and just uncomfortable excruciating pain that would not stop. The doctors ran multiple different test and scans which they found why he was in so much pain. Grayson was suffering from a swollen enlarged Left Kidney which was twice it size from his normal right one. He was suffering from a Ureteropelvic junction (UPJ) obstruction is when part of the kidney is blocked. Most often it is blocked at the renal pelvis. This is where the kidney attaches to one of the ureters (the tubes that carry urine to the bladder). The blockage slows or stops the flow of urine out of the kidney. Urine can then build up and damage the kidney.
The Urologist Team immediately laid out what actions needed to take place and performed Grayson's first procedure the same day in putting a stent in to relieve the pressure and hopefully drain out all urine. The next step in a week or so is to see if his left Kidney is salvageable. If it is not, there is a chance that they may have to remove it. Today is 2 April and Grayson is currently in recovery from the Stent procedure and doing well however he will definitely be in pain as he releases every time he urinates.
We all are very sad that they will not be joining us until at a later date however we are blessed that this was caught now and not while in transition. This definitely put much stress on Bre, Grayson's mom because we were all due to leave and now they both have to be temporarily displaced and stay with our family friend, and limited help. My wife and I are calling on our world of Family and Friends it would be much appreciated to keep them in your prayers and if your heart is so inclined to donate a token of Aloha to help off set everyday life stressors that she is currently encountering and will be, as she monitor Grayson's condition closely, making back to back appointments with test and making preparation for Grayson's Major Surgery that is set forth on his birthday 21 April. This fund will definitely help ease her mind as she can focus her attention on Grayson with out any distractions and join us in Texas after his procedures and Recovery. My wife and I are Grateful that you took the time to stop by... If you have any questions or concerns please DM me or my wife.
Again Mahalo for your time and any donations would be much appreciated! #teamgrayson
