Hi friends! My name is Eddie Heedles, I am 11 years old, and I live in Freehold, NJ. My Aunt Carolina is fundraising on my behalf to buy an adaptive tricycle for me. This adaptive Tricycle is sold by Rifton.com and will help me to improve my quality of life.
It represents way beyond gaining mobility. It is an opportunity to feel how good is to have the breeze touching my face while I ride my very own bike! It is an opportunity to feel free!
I am a special (very special because I am AMAZING & AWESOME!) child. I wake up early every morning to go to School, I take the bus in front of my house, and I can tell you how proud of myself I am because not only because of that but also many other accomplishments. Ah, I am very organized too. All my puzzle pieces go to where they belong after every play. And I am a happy child! Mommy is my fave person in the entire world.

DETAILS
A trike frame, parking brake with variable resistance, self-leveling pedals with sandals and straps, backrest tube, large seat, seat belt and rear basket. These components are included as well: the handlebar (choice of loop or conventional) and back support (choice of backrest pad or trunk support).
- A push bar that helps steer and brake the bike from behind for an adult helping him
- A mount for his AAC device
- A stationary stand which will convert the trike into a stationary exercise trike that can be used indoors as well.
- Traditional loop handle bar in front because it is easier to hold and steer and will also accommodate the mount for his AAC device
- Larger full backrest versus the back pad because it will give him more support and a surface to lean against as he pushes/pedals. I think it will also help him to feel safer and more secure in the seat.
