Little Free Library for Westside Tucson

Hi! My name is Julie and I'm trying to raise funds to purchase and install a Little Free Library for my neighborhood on the Westside of Tucson, Arizona.

I always love seeing Little Free Libraries when I'm traveling but have only seen one in Tucson and definitely none near me.

Little Free Libraries are a "take a book, leave a book" initiative, providing 24/7 access to books. This benefits both children and adults, as reading helps strengthen the brain, build vocabulary, prevent cognitive decline, reduce stress, aid sleep, alleviate depression, increase empathy, and lengthen lifespan.

I also hope that having a Little Free Library in our community will encourage neighborliness and strengthen our connections with one another.

The funds raised will be used to purchase the library and ground post + shipping. Any extra amount is to cover the GoFundMe fees. If there is anything leftover, I plan to use that to purchase books and bookmarks!
