We are raising money to build, install, and stock lending libraries/little free pantries in several locations in West Point, GA. There is currently a library located on Avenue E near 9th street, and one more coming soon to West Point Presbyterian Church on 5th Avenue.  Our goal is to build as many of these around our little city as financially possible.

The libraries serve as a way for neighbors to help neighbors. There is a book side where you can share books and people passing by can stop for a read, or take one to go. Then there is the pantry side which houses non-perishable food and snacks, as well as toiletries.  The library located on Avenue E was erected in February 2019 and has been well received by the neighborhood.  The goal is for neighbors to place items in that they have in their pantry and aren't using, or they can pick up a few items to share as they're shopping for their groceries. As someone needs it, they come and take what they need. When they have items they don't need, they'll put it in for the next person who may need it.
