Little Guy, BIG Mission

Donation protected
A yellow Labrador puppy, currently nicknamed Tiny Tim, was born with a defective leg. The breeder took good care of him but it’s been determined that the leg can’t be saved, but Tiny Tim is destined for big things! The breeder agreed to let the little guy be a great learning tool as well as go into training to become a Therapy Dog for a local school. The kids at the school will get to learn all about how working dogs are trained and what it takes to care for one. Even better, the babies special needs will help inspire students with special needs and will help generate empathy and understanding for those with special needs i our community.

Unfortunately, while the breeder donated him to the training program, the little guy’s special needs come with a few price tags. The goal of this campaign is to raise funds to cover his leg surgery, to fix his umbilical hernia (his mom kept messing with his umbilical cord sutures), and to cover his doggie health insurance and training so he will he free to the school he’s assigned to.

*** the total fundraising goal has been lowered a little due to a wonderful donation. VetriScience, a veterinary supplement company, graciously donated $10,000 to cover the cost of his surgery with a specialist!!! That means everything else we raise can go towards his training, medical insurance, and future needs so that he can be donated to the school without giving them any burden for his care. How amazing is that?!?
