Little help for Lisa

Hi Guys, this is Jack; some of you may have already heard about what is going on with Lisa. For those of you who haven't, I will do my best to explain what we know now. Lisa is experiencing severe vertigo, severe dizziness, off balance, nausea and short-term memory loss (diagnosed by Physical Therapy as PPPD -Persistant Postural-Perceptual Dizziness) due to the deterioration and some death of some brain cells caused by lack of oxygen, poor circulation to her brain. The blood vessels in her brain are smaller than normal. This is chronic, has developed over a long time. MRI also shows PRE-early signs of Alzheimer's and PRE-early signs of dementia but there is currently no such diagnosis (Pre-alzheimer or Pre-Dementia) at this time per the medical community. Dr. said that is what he'd say about a few affected parts of her brain (Pre-early). She has had several tests, and we are waiting on an appointment with the Neurologist to do some tests and especially cognitive thinking skills or disabilities. There is a lot up in the air at this time. She has not been able to work for a while, and the Doctor is not sure if she is going to be able to return at all. She cannot drive and is relying on Emma, Zeke and me to get her to the various appointments. Zeke is helping her out financially too, as much as he can. She said it tears her heart and shes horrified to have to take money from her kids and I. She is working on getting medicaid and SSI. That could take up to six months to complete. She is too proud to admit it, but she needs a little help paying her day-to-day bills her medical insurance will not cover. I have been trying to help her all I can but cannot do it all. Anything you could give to help her through this challenging time in her life, I know she will greatly appreciate. Due to her illness she can only text short sentences, so phone calls would work best. Feel free to ask her for my number to answer any questions she may not remember the answers to.
