Little help to afford a safe a reliable car

Hello friends of of port Townsend. I have never used this before but it was suggested to me and I thought I could give it a try.

My name is Abbi and I have a one year old babygirl named kaija. My daughter and I moved to this community about 9 months ago after escaping a very abusive and scary living situation with my daughters father. I do not feel the need to go into it much more than that. Since moving here I have have utilized all of my recourses and I am closely working with Dove house (they are amazing) and olycap (amazing as well), I take online classes last time at Pennisula community college and I work 5 days a week when my daughter is at Early head start. We are currently vigorously working so hard to find permanent housing which is not easy as we live in temporary transitional housing right now.

I work as a home care aid and I have to do a lot of driving everyday back and forth from port hadlock to port Townsend I have clients all over and having a car is literally what keeps me having a job. I love my job and I love helping my clients, caregiving is a passion of mine and the perfect stepping stone for my future career goals as a nurse or medical assistant.

I have been having a lot of trouble with my car i just been throwing so much money into it just for another problem to Occur almost immediately I feel defeated and I really need to find a new car that is safe and reliable and doesn’t have over 250,000 miles on it.

I have a little bit of money saved and I may be able to get something when I can sell the current car I have as well but times are definitely hard right now and I do not like the idea of asking for a hand out. I was taught you have to work for what you want and I have been doing that. I work and go on stop all day everyday! I just can’t seem to catch a break though. So when someone suggested I start a fundraiser I was not sure if I should do so or not but after looking so hard for the right car for me in todays market people are really asking a lot of money tor cars that have even more trouble than mine!

I just don’t want this to be a obstacle anymore I need and want to keep my focus on mine and my daughters future because I do want bug things in life for us and I am willing to do whatever it takes ti get us there. I will never give up.
