Little Italy COVID-19 Response

In response to the COVID-19 crisis, Chicago organizers Kelly Hayes and Delia Galindo have spearheaded the creation of mutual aid networks across the city so that neighbors can coordinate care for each other. We are assembling a volunteer network in Little Italy in order to fulfill requests as they start coming in. We have begun delivering groceries and other supplies, and will be running errands and completing pharmacy pickups in the coming days.
Little Italy is a mixed income neighborhood with many university students as well as working class families and public housing units. Please help us to meet the needs of the most vulnerable members of our community.

Groceries, sanitation kits, supplies, direct aid for families in need
Any unused funds will be donated to Brave Space Alliance, the "first Black-led, trans-led LGBTQ Center located on the South Side of Chicago." For more information see their website:
