Little Kaylee
Donation protected
This is Little Kaylee. April 2nd 2021 she was playing in dad's wheelchair and accidentally went through a stop sign and was accidently hit by a car. Kaylee is at Loma Linda Pediatrics Center with her dad and step mom trying so hard to recover.
She has been unresponsive up to Sunday when she opened her eyes to hearing her name, Monday she started moving and mumbled "go home" and "ouch" and "oh my God". She had surgery for a broken bone in her right leg and that went well. MRI showed brain swelling and bleeding but as of today,
April 6th, the doctors are very hopeful. She still can not breath on her own and the doctors do not know why so she will have another MRI in a few days to see if there is a tear in the brain.
Kaylee's dad is in a wheelchair because he is paralyzed from the waist down and when it happened dad physically could not even come outside to his baby. That night the Senior Center in 29 Palms donated a brand new wheelchair. They are so thankful!
Kaylee's other 3 siblings are doing okay and are being taken care of by grandma. Step mom is going to miss work and hopefully we can pull together to help them out a bit with their bills for the next couple months.
We are not asking for a lot, just enough.
A message from Kaylee's family.
I just want to say thank you to everybody that has supported and prayed for our baby. We also want to say that we are not mad at the driver, because we understand accidents happen. Right now we are putting all of our attention on our daughter and getting her better. Thanks for everybody's prayers. She is recovering fast! Thank you again, so much for the prayers and love you have sent our way.
